The must-ask list
What is the effective rate on my actual volume? Is the equipment purchased or leased? What is the contract length and the early-termination fee? Which fees can change, and how will I be notified? What happens to my data and hardware if I leave? Who do I call when something breaks?
A trustworthy provider answers all of these plainly. If you're getting hedges instead of answers, that's your answer. Send us the contract and we'll flag anything worth questioning.
