What it is
Biller Genie is a lighter-weight alternative to Hyfin with a different starting assumption: you keep QuickBooks as the system of record and Biller Genie automates everything around it. Invoices send themselves by email or physical mail, reminders escalate on a schedule, payments reconcile automatically, and the batch matches without anyone touching it.
The features that separate it are unglamorous and useful — auto invoice reconciliation, automatic batch reconciliation, paper mail for customers who genuinely will not pay from an email, a branded customer portal, bulk payment for customers settling several invoices at once, and stored cards.
It supports surcharging for card-not-present merchants, with published guidance on how that is meant to work. The same Florida caution applies as everywhere else on this site.

- If your customers already pay on time, the savings are smaller than the pitch suggests.
