talech is the POS software that rides on Elavon and U.S. Bank hardware. It sits between a payment terminal and a full POS: real inventory, employee management, discounts, order types and reporting, without the weight or price of a restaurant platform.
It runs on Ingenico Axium hardware and the Moby handheld line, which are solid, well-supported devices — this is bank-grade equipment rather than a startup's first tablet. For a small retail counter, a salon, a café or a service business that needs a proper ring-up screen and stock counts, it is a sensible middle option.
What you should know: talech is tied to the Elavon processing relationship. It is not a system you carry to another processor.
