Not one we lead with. We can board this if you want it. It is not one we know inside out, so we would be setting it up rather than advising you on it — and we would tell you that before you signed anything. Talk it through with us.

Verosa
Live posting between your payments and QuickBooks Online, and nothing else.
- B2B
- Professional services
- Home services
- Any business
An independent assessment. Vigilant can place Verosa, and is paid the same either way — which is why the drawbacks are on this page too.
What it is
Verosa is the narrowest tool in this section and the easiest to explain. Successful transactions, new customers, invoices, sales receipts, refunds and voids post straight back to QuickBooks Online as they happen. That is the product.
Around it: card and ACH processing for one client or many simultaneously, automatic recurring billing at set intervals, email invoicing with editable templates, and reporting that shows transaction history, customer data, sync status and any processing errors — the last one being the screen that matters when something did not post.
It runs in any main browser on desktop, laptop or mobile with only an internet connection, and it deliberately keeps the same workflow your staff already use so training is close to nothing. Card data sits in a Level 1 PCI-compliant vault.
Who it fits
Best for
Businesses on QuickBooks Online that want payments posting itself and are not looking to change how anyone works.
Probably not ideal for
Businesses on QuickBooks Desktop or other accounting systems, and anyone who wants dunning, portals and collections automation — that is Hyfin or Biller Genie.
Key capabilities
- Live posting
- Transactions, customers, invoices, sales receipts, refunds and voids post back to QuickBooks Online as they happen.
- Card and ACH
- Process one client or many simultaneously on either rail.
- Recurring billing
- Complete sets of transactions at set intervals, automated.
- Email invoicing
- Customisable templates your client pays directly.
- Sync visibility
- Transaction history, customer data, sync status and a processing-error screen.
- Minimal training
- Keeps the existing workflow, so productivity does not dip during changeover.
Strengths and tradeoffs
Strengths
- Level II and III data handling, which materially lowers interchange on commercial and purchasing cards.
- Automates the data capture that most merchants never supply, and therefore never benefit from.
- Integrates with accounting and ERP so the line-item detail comes from where it already exists.
- The savings are structural rather than negotiated — they come from card-brand rates, not from a discount.
- Particularly valuable where customers pay with corporate purchasing cards.
Tradeoffs
- Only relevant if a meaningful share of your volume is commercial or purchasing cards.
- Requires clean line-item data; if your invoices lack detail, there is nothing to submit.
- Setup involves your accounting or ERP system, which is more work than a terminal swap.
- No benefit at all on consumer card volume.
- The savings need modelling from your actual card mix before you commit — averages are meaningless here.
Pricing
Monthly platform fee plus processing.
Pricing reflects what the vendor publishes or what we have seen quoted. Your actual terms depend on volume, card mix and what is negotiated — which is the part we do.
Vigilant's assessment
One of the few genuinely structural savings in payments: supply the data the card brands ask for and the rate drops by rule rather than by negotiation. Worth checking your card mix first — if you are mostly consumer cards, this does nothing for you and we will say so.
How it compares
B2B card acceptance is priced differently from consumer, and most merchants never claim what they are entitled to.
| Criterion | Verosa Level II/III automation | NMI Gateway with L2/L3 support | Chargezoom Accounting-native payments |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best at | Capturing L2/L3 data automatically | Supporting L2/L3 in your own stack | Reconciliation and recurring billing |
| Where the saving comes from | Lower interchange by rule | Same, if you submit the data | Not its focus |
| Data source | Your accounting or ERP | Whatever you pass in | Your accounting system |
| Effort | Moderate integration | Developer work | Light |
| Benefit on consumer cards | None | None | Not applicable |
| Pick it when | Corporate cards are a real share of volume | You are building your own stack | Month-end is the pain |
Verdict. Check your card mix first. Significant commercial or purchasing card volume: Verosa pays for itself structurally. Mostly consumer cards: it does nothing, and we would rather tell you than sell it.
