What it is
Dejavoo makes the terminal on a lot of Southwest Florida counters, and it has quietly become a full platform. The Android P-line and QD-line cover countertop, wireless, mobile and PIN pad; the Linux Z-line is the workhorse EMV terminal you have seen everywhere; the D1 is an Android cloud register; and the QD3 UPT handles unattended and outdoor.
Behind them sits iPOSpays, which is a real gateway rather than a terminal portal — hosted checkout, virtual terminal, payment links, recurring billing, tokenised card-on-file, and Level 2/3 data enrichment for B2B and government cards. S.A.F.E. handles fraud screening. DejaPayPro adds a cloud register for restaurants and retail.
Dual pricing and cash discount are supported at the terminal application level, with card and cash prices shown on screen and on the receipt. Done this way it is defensible; done as a surprise line item at the end it is not.

- Programme rules for surcharging vary by state and card brand; it has to be set up correctly or not at all.

Buy the terminal outright — they are inexpensive. Gateway is a small monthly. Refuse any 48-month lease on a device that costs a few hundred dollars.
